Mixture of spices and herbs ARCHESTRATUS for fish and more.

Taste a "divine" blend. Enjoy the absolute tasty experience that comes from 350 BC, in the ancient recipe of the father of western gastronomy, the Greek poet ARCHESTRATUS. About this “divine” blend, Archestratous refers that it was intended for fish (tuna, shark). We also tested it to other fish and the result is fantastic. It will impress you also on roasted or cooked meats and poultry.

Directions:  Spread the fish fillets with olive oil. Put some of the mixture on each side of the fillets and fry them with some olive oil for 6 to 8 minutes on each side until they become roasted. Serve with a green salad with a tablespoon of olive oil, a tablespoon of red wine vinegar and a small amount of bread.

Ingredients:  Natural raw sea salt of Messolonghi, cumin, parsley, oregano, coriander and mint.

 Tetradrachm Gela 480 470 BC

Archestratus (Greek: Ἀρχέστρατος Archestratos) was an ancient Greek poet of Gela or Syracuse, in Sicily, who wrote some time in the mid 4th century BCE, and was known as "the Daedalus of tasty dishes". His humorous didactic poem Hedypatheia ("Life of Luxury"), written in hexameters but known only from quotations, advises a gastronomic reader on where to find the best food in the Mediterranean world.
